There are many models, styles finishes to choose from - can be the hardest part of buying a bathroom faucet is narrow down the choices to just one!
Before Buying your Bathroom Faucet
While making the purchase of your bathroom faucet, there are some concepts to keep in mind before making your decision. Things like:-handle determine the type of preference, whether one or two-handle, faucet style that best keeps the decoration, finish and if combined with other accessories and furniture that already exist in your bathroom tap whatever you buy and the amount in your budget you want to spend, the faucet is easy to install on your current sink. Keep in mind that some manufacturers do not include in their packages to ON position, so you need to buy them separately.
Quality Bathroom Faucets
One of the most important aspects to consider when choosing a faucet that fits your needs, is the build quality of the tap. A light tap, which contains plastic parts is generally a bad idea, cheap construction means only one thing: a temporary faucet needed to be replaced soon. The best choice for bathroom faucet family, is one that offers beautiful and long lasting and effortless operability why worry.

The bathroom faucet is no longer just a mold based on simple and basic. Now you can be as beautiful as a sculptural, or as rustic as the old faucets in the best B & B in New England. The options market is rich finishes, there are in polished chrome, satin nickel, polished nickel, polished brass, antique brass, platinum, gold, acrylic enamel in a rainbow of colors, stainless steel, copper and many other options. So find the perfect tap or faucet that fits the needs of your bathroom decor, this only limited by your imagination.
Hi beauties. i need help with something OT
I asked before about updating my bathroom. granite counters are in now. so i bought very basic faucets in satin nickel and now in looking for new light fixtures im not seeing anything that floats my boat.
in general should all hardware in the bathroom match? i dont have towel bars or anything else yet. so could i keep the satin nickel faucet but match everything else with lets says a bronze-ish tone? or should it just all match? thanks

The big box stores have the basic items (Delta, Kohler, Moen , Price Pfister and Hansgrohe brands). What should I look for in quality and what brands should I avoid? I will have a professional plumber install the unit. If you have personal experience with this type of work I would really like to hear how your project turned out.
Budget faucets: Delta
Mid grade: Hansgrohe and Kohler
High end: Grohe
In low end faucets you want easy to repair and you want them to be cheap without looking cheap.
Mid grade you want stylish, metal drain assembly in the sink, pressure balance and/or thermostatic in …reat, the mid grade stuff is somewhere in between. No matter what you choose SAVE YOUR PAPERWORK. make sure the installer leaves the paper work with you, then put it in a plastic bag under your sink. This way when you need parts for it 10 years from now you will have no problem identifying them.

Right now I have gold finish fixtures that are about 8 yrs old and they are pitting. The finish doesn't seem to hold up. What brand and/or finish would you recommend that will last longer?
The lady "law inspired" has your best answer, methinks she knows herstuff. and here i thought brass or bronze (solid)wouldn't pit in water. guess i can still learn a thing or three.

Just want to know if they look that nice for long and if you have to provide special care compared to basic stainless ones? What brand is the best value did you find?
We renovated our 3 bathrooms and used oil rubbed bronze fixtures for 2 bathrooms, 2 years ago. We also replaced all of our doors (interior and exterior) and also used oil rubbed bronze handles throughout the house. Everything looks absolutely fabulous, no signs of wear on any of the fixtures or … shipping, although I did have to wait a few weeks for a back order on one faucet. Everything came with warranties and in original packaging with money back guarantees. I wish I could remember the name of the E-bay stores we used and if I can find the name, I'll edit my comment and let you know.

How good is the quality of danze bath faucet? I have only recently heard of this brand but like their opulence model. I am more familiar with Price Pfister, Moen, Delta...
What is your experiece with Danze? Will it hold up over time? Thanks.
Danze are a high quality European made line of faucets. In general they are better made than the ones you list. Most are made of solid metal castings unlike many American made ones. I would consider them lifetime faucets. One very good quality US manufacturer is Kohler in their upper end series. …) that repair/replacement parts might be harder to come by than for something made here. I have installed a few of their high end products but don't know off hand where to get parts if I need them but by their quality they probably won't need any for several more years.
Good Luck!
